2008 Annual Conference Supporting the Annual Conference
The 2008 conference will bring together 1,000 CEOs, trustees, senior-level professionals, and scholars to discover the best ways to use our powerful voice to secure brighter futures for people across the country and around the world. They will work to identify and develop creative approaches to strengthen our communities and fulfill the hopes of millions of people for better lives. The conference, which this year will be held November 9-11 in Philadelphia, is the only national forum that connects charities, foundations, and corporation giving programs. Gardner Leadership Award Dinner Each year during the Annual Conference, IS recognizes an individual whose leadership in or with the nonprofit community has been
transformative and who, like John Gardner, has mobilized and unified people, institutions, or causes
that improve lives. The 2008 award will be presented during the November 10 dinner that will be attended by over 600 leaders from national and local nonprofit organizations. The presentation is one of the highlights of the conference and includes inspiring remarks from the award recipient. Join us in honoring an outstanding leader by considering a table sponsorship.
