Independent Sector advocates for policies that strengthen the capacity of Americans to engage in nonpartisan advocacy and lobbying through charitable nonprofits and that expand the ability of private foundations and other donors to support nonpartisan advocacy by nonprofits, including lobbying, voter education, and voter registration activities.
