The 2010 Public Policy Action Institute takes place in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 19 and Wednesday, October 20 – just prior to the Independent Sector Annual Conference.
Join nonprofit leaders, communications specialists, and policy advocates at Independent Sector’s Public Policy Action Institute where participants will develop winning strategies and techniques to strengthen the voice of nonprofits and foundations in shaping public policies on critical issues facing our community.
Now in its seventh year, the Institute features rousing discussions and expert presentations on the political landscape, the key issues facing the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, and the most effective methods for conveying our messages and expertise to lawmakers and regulators.
The Public Policy Action Institute is held a-day-and-a-half prior to the Independent Sector Annual Conference in Atlanta. Registration is required. It can be added to a conference registration or can be registered for separately.
The Institute runs Tuesday, October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
